Objective: Supports and assists the project management team by coordinating project activities and performing administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, distribute, project documents and correspondence both in paper and digital files such as: Owner Contract agreement, Subcontract agreements, project drawings, submittals, prime contract change orders, sub change orders, purchase orders, daily logs, project binders etc.
- Maintain and track project information in Sage 100 Contractor and CoConstruct.
- Assisting with notices to owner, releases of lien, certificates of insurance.
- Apply for permits and revisions as required, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and that the project is in compliance.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure they deliver materials and services on time and within budget.
- Assist with job punch out list as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project. Maintain regular communication with project staff to facilitate smooth project delivery. Maintain regular communication with accounting staff to control project financials.
- Address and resolve any project-related issues that may arise during construction.
- Other responsibilities, as needed.
Required Skills:
1. Two years in construction industry
2. Two years permitting experience
3. Familiarity with CSI Codes (Divisions 1-16)
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members effectively.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps, including Excel
6. Excellent follow-up, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
7. A keen eye for detail to ensure that all work meets quality standards and contractual agreements.
8. Experience with Sage 100 Contractor and/or CoConstruct a plus
