ADT Solar is currently searching for a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator is someone who has experience managing solar installation businesses, understands the ins and outs of quality service, construction, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The right Project Coordinator is a detail-oriented person, who's also great at managing relationships, and making sure all parties of the solar ecosystem feel respected, heard, and valued.
This role works closely with Field Operations team members and customers performing duties such as submitting permits, interconnection agreements and working with local jurisdictions to provide excellent customer service. At different levels, this job may require working with local utilities, understanding draft designs, and delivering permit packets to job sites. It is crucial that the Project Coordinator understands the processes and utilizes the tools provided as well as takes ownership of workflow to provide customers rapid progress through all milestones.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage an active pipeline of solar projects, ensuring your pipeline will see timely progress across each stage, and a goal of contract submission to solar installation in under 60 days.
2. Communicate with the homeowner, consultant, and installer to resolve any issues holding up your project, including work order changes with the installer, HOA or interconnection blockers with the homeowner, or any other blocker that might arise needing to be addressed so the project can move forward. Be responsible for resolving communications to consultants, customers, and your internal team members within 24 hours, so we ensure a positive experience for our customers.
3. Collaborate in a cross-functional teamwork environment with various departments such as Sales, Field Operations, Legal, etc.
4. Review, prepare, and submit all permit packages in accordance with Authorities Having Jurisdiction ("AHJ") requirements.
5. Review, prepare and submit all interconnection and HOA applications in accordance with Utility regulations and HOA guidelines.
6. Update internal systems with accurate and detailed statuses, date fields, and notes.
7. Ensure payments for permits are completed in a timely manner, maintaining transactions for each project and able to reconcile any outstanding charges within 2 business days.
8. Understand local AHJ requirements as it relates to the permit process and update the AHJ database permitting requirements as needed.
9. Work with internal teams and jurisdictional employees to understand and resolve any jurisdictional comments.
10. Print or pick up permit application packets from local offices and deliver, accompanied by checks if needed, sealed inside permit bags to local jurisdictions.
11. Retrieve approved permits and plans from local jurisdictions.
12. Scan and upload documents provided from AHJ to appropriate location.
13. Additional duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of project coordination experience with a small to medium sized company
• 1+ years of previous field construction experience (project development, construction permitting or solar is preferred)
• Self-motivated independent worker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel). Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Experience maintaining a calendar of events and project timelines.
• Experience interpreting reports to define action items.
• Exposure to PV design and installation processes is a plus.
