Job Overview:
As our Project Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of diverse project initiatives, collaborating closely with Project Managers and spearheading day-to-day tasks across the department. Your main goals include enhancing departmental communication, ensuring timely updates of documentation and schedules, and providing vital support from project conception to delivery.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate project and system design, fabrication, equipment purchasing, staging, and delivery logistics for Mechdyne activities.
- Serve as author of project documentation (meeting notes, follow-ups, summaries of conversations, agreements with customer, change orders, etc.)
- Maintain communications with project support staff regarding the status of project design, equipment, shipping logistics and installation schedules.
- Assist in overall project and marketing support to ensure proposed services and systems have clearly defined deliverables and feasible schedules.
- Participate in developing and maintaining both macro and micro schedules for projects, including customer activities (funding, construction, etc.)
- Track and update project milestones through our project lifecycle, making updates at various locations, both digital and physical.
- Create documents related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and commissioning documents.
- Work with Project Teammates to create, populate, and track component orders from requests to reception.
- Maintain general knowledge of current equipment applications, special features/suitability, pricing, and availability.
- Plan and help write necessary reports (progress, interim, final) if required for specific projects.
- Travel to domestic and foreign client sites, travel expectations start at 25%.

Qualifications That Will Set You Apart:
- A.A./A.S. degree or higher.
- Prior experience in a project coordination role, showcasing successful project completions and positive contributions to team dynamics.
- Construction experience is a plus.
