The Project Controller will work in support of the respective project managers for each assigned project, to develop and maintain project plans in accordance with standards and processes. Will have direct responsibility for developing and tracking Cost and Schedule along with Project Information in the appropriate Systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES
1) Develop Cost and Schedule baselines of varying levels, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Dictionary at all stages of the project lifecycle (from pre-design to closeout).
2) Track and maintain project budgets, tracking actual costs, and providing variance analysis and reporting.
3) Track and maintain project schedules, tracking activity and milestone progress, and providing variance analysis and reporting.
4) Maintaining overall project data, including but not limited to, Risk, Action, Issue, Decision logs.
5) Develops metrics and reports so that accurate and timely information can be provided to management and stakeholders.
6) Provides documentation support for project controls processes, policies and procedures; and identifies and recommends policy changes to improve the effectiveness of the organization and delivery of projects.
INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE DESIRED
Knowledge of infrastructure construction in any of the following is desirable:
Road, Bridges, Airports, Traffic, Sewer, Dams and/or Water Treatment.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you will need to be onsite for one week each month.
The pay range is $70-$100/hr. This is a contract (1099) position.
