Programs and Operations Manager

Purpose of Position:

The Programs & Operations Manager reports to PMC’s Managing Director and is the most senior level operations & program management position within the joint venture. The role requires an individual who can both build relationships with the different Philips business leaders, and also manage day-to-day operational processes such as those completed by our sales support team, and someone who can creatively develop ways to enhance the effectiveness of our product offerings and sales team.

This is a senior-level management position which enjoys exposure to senior leadership within both DLL and Philips. The individual will build relationships with the different Philips business leaders, agree and set targets and review these targets during the year and take actions where necessary. Effective problem-solving on both a transactional and programmatic basis is a must along with an adaptable style which can shift gears between operational and commercial objectives easily. This position touches virtually every function within the JV and will prepare this member for future general management responsibilities.

Day to Day


New Product Development and Support

  • Development and implementation of new products such as Pay Per Use, Capital Progression Planning, Lifecycle Refresh, and other new initiatives designed for opportunities ranging from $500,000 to $20,000,000;
  • Creating internal and end-user presentations relative to these products and presenting these solutions to customers as needed.
  • Proactively own, develop & roll out different PMC finance programs for all Philips businesses in the US;
  • These programs will contribute to increasing sales for the Philips sales organization, and will result in higher lease penetration for PMC. Example programs are Fee per Disposables, Pay Per Use, Inventory Finance & Rebate Programs;

External Stakeholder Management

  • Create in a short period an enhanced network with different Philips business leaders in the North America organization;
  • Set & agree targets with the different Philips business leaders, on leasing and program volumes;
  • Maintain regular contacts with the business leaders to monitor performance, and react proactively and revise targets when necessary during the calendar year;
  • Identify potential new Philips businesses that can become part of the PMC financing program.

Commercial Business Analysis and Reporting

  • Provide the direction required to measure and present PMC and Philips commercial data in an actionable manner designed to increase PMC’s financing penetration rate;
  • Design and implement enhancements to PMC’s SFDC instance to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Manage the development and implementation of PMC incentive programs for Philips sales representatives.

Operational Leadership

  • Serve as PMC’s operational leadership to various Philips operational counterparts which could involve participation in various Philips process improvement initiatives;
  • As needed, negotiate terms and conditions of financing contracts developed for large opportunities in conjunction with the requirements of our Credit, Asset Management, and Legal teams.

Other Activities

  • Serve as PMC’s primary contact relative to new Compliance requirements and system changes;
  • PMC Sales forecasting and management of various sales promotions;
  • Analyze and understand relevant US healthcare markets & trends, including Hospitals, Out of Hospital, home healthcare and therapeutic care Markets in the US, Identify and create programs around these market segments;
  • Other ad-hoc assignments as needed for the JV and which may not fall neatly within the scope of other PMC departments.

Travel within the US may be required to support the following:

  • Strategic Client meetings in which our unique solutions may need to be presented and/or enhanced for specific situations;
  • Periodic meetings with Philips’ operational stakeholders;
  • Expected travel demand is 5-6 business days per month.

Essentials
  • Advanced vocational level (minimum Bachelors degree in U.S.);
  • Over 10 years of experience in vendor finance, banking and/or leasing industry;
  • Great understanding of all documentation and accounting & financing aspects of a given structure;
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred;
  • Strong process improvement skills, intermediate MS Office capabilities, and familiarity with Salesforce.com;
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills;
  • The candidate will be passionate about working in healthcare, has a can do attitude, and will also be fun to work with.

Applicable pay range

$154,388 - $231,582 (This role is eligible for sales commissions which increase the target earnings beyond the listed pay range)

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
