Programmer Analyst

PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES

Responsible for designing and coding of in-house written programs.

Develop and maintain transaction sets for EDI documents:

• OpenText - Trusted Link I
• MAPICSXA - Electronic Commerce Application

Responsible for programming conversion of legacy systems to IBM i AS/400, Infor XA (MAPICS) and Loftware Labeling systems.

Assist with the maintenance, security and proper operation of current systems, hardware and peripheral equipment.

Actively participate in planning and implementation of information systems improvements.

Interface with user departments to assure:

• Maximum user benefit from available computing capabilities and eliminate wasteful activities.
• Timely inputs/outputs of data for processing requirements
• Accurate inputs/outputs of data and information.

Develop annual Sales budget templates

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum of 4 years related experience
• Programming Language: RPG, RPGLE, CL, Query400
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills
• Self-motivated (a MUST)
• Conscientiousness
• Work as a team player
• Organized

Working Conditions

• Primarily in an office environment, but may frequent the manufacturing plant floor areas, as needed
