Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.
Prairie St. John's is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Program Specialist to join our team! This position has the unique opportunity to lead theraputic activity groups with patients!.
This position is hiring for as needed hours.

Essential Job Duties:
- Planning and coordinating client-centered, interactive activities for patient groups; recognizing instability cues and providing de-escalating interventions if needed.
- Documents group participation in an accurate, timely and complete manner, following established policies and procedures.
- Must possess the ability to plan and implement groups.
- Communicate thoroughly and accurately in a professional manner both verbally and in writing. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills are expected.
