As a trusted partner of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), we're searching for an experienced Construction Scheduler to help us bring excellence to project management in the City of Angels.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Do you possess a minimum of five (5) years of full-time, hands-on experience as a Scheduler, preferably within the realms of educational or public works projects, either as an Owner or General Contractor?
- Have you earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with a focus on Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management? Alternatively, do you boast a bachelor's degree in another field, accompanied by an additional two (2) years of invaluable Construction Scheduling expertise?
- Are you proficient in managing Primavera and the MS Office Suite?
- Are you well-versed in project delivery methodologies encompassing Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build?
- Are your written and verbal communication skills exceptional?
- Do you demonstrate superior organizational and interpersonal skills?
- Crucially, are you fully vaccinated against COVID-19? (This requirement is non-negotiable.)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a Program Scheduler at PMCS Group, Inc., your key responsibilities include:
- Crafting and maintaining program schedules, meticulously delineating task dependencies, milestones, and logistical constraints across various construction projects.
- Vigilantly monitoring and proactively addressing project scheduling intricacies, while upholding industry-leading standards.
- Ensuring the prompt and precise acquisition of program schedule updates from project teams, followed by rigorous quality assurance checks.
- Innovatively conceptualizing "what-if" schedules for diverse project types, including multi-year and intricately structured endeavors.
- Conducting in-depth Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
- Preparing ad-hoc reports and analytical insights promptly, in response to directives from senior management.
