Responsibilities
Program Manager - Education (State Education Data Solutions)
+ Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects in the State Education Data solution service line, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
+ Plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
+ Engages with education clients and other stakeholders (eg CCSSO, interoperability standards groups, etc.) to understand client needs, objectives, and requirements; and envisions solutions to meet those needs.
+ Builds and maintains subject matter expertise in the area of state and federal data collection and reporting requirements, providing advice and guidance to clients and other stakeholders.
+ Develops new initiatives to support the strategic direction of PCG and the needs of clients, leveraging emerging technologies, modern approaches to data management, interoperability, and business intelligence.
+ Develops and implements long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program.
+ Develops and manages the annual budget and operating plan to support the program.
+ Develops a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.
+ Ensures that program activities comply with all relevant legislation and leverage relevant standards.
+ Ensures all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards.
+ Provides direction, input and feedback to project staff assigned to State Education Data solution projects and deliverables.
+ Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program.
+ Liaises with colleagues (e.g. CIOs, Chief Data Officer, business managers, etc.) to define and set program objectives and to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
+ Coordinates the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
+ Identifies and evaluates the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks.
+ Monitors the program activities on a regular basis and drives continuous improvement efforts according to the program evaluation framework.
+ Supervises and develops staff members who support the work of the education practice.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 5+ years' of related work experience. Prior work experience in Project Management
Required Skills
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Keen attention to detail
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.?As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $100,000 - $160,000.In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
