Your day-to-day work will include:

The Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission is to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.

The MDA Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) contract (formerly Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC)), as the authoritative data repository responsible for all protection, archival, and distribution of historical, current, and future MDS test data, plays a critical role in achieving the Agency's test program mission and objectives.

The Program Manager - Government Contracts serves as the primary interface between our organization and government entities, including the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and Government Technical Monitor. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the development and submission of proposals related to Government Contracts, ensuring compliance with all requirements and standards.

Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide, maintain, and modernize capabilities for a variety of tasks related to the mission and functions of the contract.
  • Oversee overall management of program, personnel, planning, quality control, direction, coordination, and compliance with cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Support daily operations in MDA test through each phase of MDA TEST CONOPS.
  • Executive data collection, storage, extraction, analysis to meet stakeholder RFIs.
  • Ensure dissemination of information is secure with expedited tasks.
  • Understand the interdependencies between Missile Defense System Test Program and MDA Integration Master Test Plan.
  • Coordinate and/or lead efforts in expanding data management initiatives for all Agency data types.
  • Improve foundational data management processes and capabilities.
  • Research, identify, and map data sources for MDA use cases.
  • Perform data quality assessments and recommendations for improvement.
  • Enhance data access and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure analysis of gaps or omissions in data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality for migration.
  • Oversees normalization and reconciliation of data in the data warehouse.
  • Track, collect, and report the status of data received and distributed across functional areas.
  • Oversee configuration management and data release practices within security guidelines.
  • Design, develop, implement, test, update, operate, sustain, and document hardware and software for AIMSS operations.
  • Support MDA cloud strategy with approved cloud service providers.
  • Facilitate services like high-performance computing, laaS, PaaS, DaaS, and SaaS Cloud Service Offering.
  • Ensure modernization and migration of applications to MDA hybrid cloud service provider environment.
  • Support dissemination of substantial ground test data sets to MDA, OGA, and Warfighter communities.
  • Oversee collection of flight and ground test data.
  • Capture test deployment rosters and other test event data.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory

  • 5-7 years related experience supporting the DoD (MDA - preferred), Uniformed Services
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior DoD SES staff, academia, and industry in meetings, workshops, and forums.
  • 5 years project management (DoD environment) skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solver with experience supporting strategy development and implementation.
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical team members or senior leadership; ability to clearly explain complex scenarios.
  • Ability to proactively identify risks, opportunities and threats to program threats and present solutions.
  • Excellent meeting management skills and Microsoft Office Suite product skills.
  • Experience with Data Management / Cloud Migration / software development

Preferred:

  • Experience leading project teams in a large matrixed organization.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, System Engineering, or a related field

Waivable/Substitutable: Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement including experience managing projects.

Work hours:

Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.

Security Clearance:
