The Program Director is responsible for managing the daily clinical and operational aspects of the DUI program including management of program(s) regulations, contracts, service quality, staff deployment, integration with local community and public relations.
How will I contribute
- Monitor contract and program compliance with DUI Title 9 regulations, Kings View’s policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with CLAS standards.
- Assist in developing and monitoring program budgets.
- Report regularly to funders, which include federal, state, county entities.
- Provide training to community partners, agency staff and others.
- Monitor quality management compliance and perform day to day quality management tasks (e.g., chart audits, observe groups, utilization management)
- Provide assistance to direct reports with work issues including establishing clear expectations regarding performance and training.
- Provide support and attention to employee successes and address performance issues promptly and effectively.
- Establish direct service expectations for clinical staff. Monitor employee productivity, documentation, and group skills.
- Coordinate hiring process including orientation and training.
- Meet with staff individually and as a group for regular supervision. Maintain accurate documentation of supervisory meetings.
- May provide direct service, as needed.
- Meet standards for documentation and work accuracy for self and supervisees including timely completion of progress notes, assessments, and compliance with DUI Title 9 regulations.
- Complete required program reports including those needed for supervisory responsibilities timely and accurately.
- Attend informational, clinical and management meetings which may include all-agency, team and consultation meetings, staffing, intra-agency trainings, etc.
- Continually increase level of cultural sensitivity, awareness and competency.
What I bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related plus Six years’ experience in clinical supervision, administration, and personnel management.
- Maintain SUD Certification
- Knowledge of current laws/regulations/guidelines related to SUD services. Knowledge in leadership and supervision models. Knowledge of current clinical practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Typing and/or 10-key.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to organize work in an appropriate sequential order. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to train, mentor, and supervise staff.
- Strong work ethic and practice of One Team leadership style as well as an ability to drive healthy staff accountability to each other and with their respective job duties. Demonstrated effective supervisor and team member.
- Masters degree with training in clinical area, or possess a valid California license as a LVN, LPT, RN or Substance Abuse Certification. Preferred
