Position Purpose:

The Program Coordinator for the Culture and Employee Belonging (CEB) department, within the Campus Services division, collaborates with the Director of CEB to uphold Campus Services’ dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive community. This involves organizing recognition events, educational initiatives, and community engagement events within the division of Campus Services.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp:

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience

Description:

Project Management and Administration

  • Supporting the Director of Culture and Employee Belonging (CEB) and the DEI Council, undertakes administrative responsibilities such as: scheduling meetings, setting agendas, actively participating in meetings, taking notes, and ensuring effective follow-up on meeting outcomes.
  • Supports the strategic planning of the Culture and Employee Belonging for the Campus Services’ division. Analyzes all phases of a project and takes charge of the planning and review stages (i.e. tracking metrics, identifying learning needs, identifying themes). Employs creative approaches to identify, develop, and implement innovative initiatives aligned with the strategic plan.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for all three shifts on designated projects and educational activities.
  • Works with departmental managers on all forms of recognition, including milestone anniversaries, thank you cards, retirements, etc.
  • Tracks and manages program expenses to ensure adherence to Campus Services CEB budget. Partners with the Chief Operating Officer – Campus Services and Director of Culture and Employee Belonging in spending decisions.

Description:

Communication, Event Planning, and Promotion

  • Works in collaboration with the Manager of Communication on posting relevant information for anniversaries, recognitions, and events on storyboards, newsletters, emails, and monitors.
  • Assists with the development, organization, and implementation of CEB related events.
  • Partners with the appropriate stakeholders/offices to ensure information related to CS happenings is up to date, well-communicated, and monitored for any action items.
  • Partners with the CEB and Director HR/Learning and Development to schedule, manage, and actualize various trainings, both internal and external, personal and professional development, and other programs/events for the broader Campus Services community that aim to enhance CS culture and promote behavioral growth.
  • Provides vital support to the Campus Services DEI Council by disseminating pertinent information to the council members (managing schedules, sharing helpful resources, and distributing meeting notes). Champions the work of the Council to external stakeholders and serves as a valuable resource for Campus Services staff seeking to enhance their understanding of the council’s initiatives and activities.

Description:

Community Building and Staff Support

  • Acts as a critical thought partner and helps launch Campus Services Culture and Community Engagement Events based on the needs and themes of CS. Communicates regularly with staff, including meeting with individuals or groups to listen to feedback and solicit feedback on programs and events.
  • In partnership with CEB, holds accessible and equitable opportunities for engagement from first, second and third shifts amongst onboarding, office hours, training, events, etc.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of a framework for increasing and sustaining community amongst staff at all levels of Campus Services.
  • Serves as a conduit between CS staff and Campus Services Administration; bridging the communication gap between Campus Services staff and Campus Services administration.
  • Consults on strategies and tactics to improve staff communications.
  • Partners with departments across Campus Services to implement services/resources/etc. as identified within CEB strategic planning and the DEI Council at Campus Services.
