Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Associate.
Under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Associate will be responsible for providing a broad range of support to the Health Evaluation and Analytics Lab (HEAL), at New York University Langone Health, Department of Population Health (DPH).
HEAL is a joint venture between DPH and the NYU Wagner School of Public Service. The mission of HEAL is to conduct research and evaluations that assist in the administration of the New York Medicaid program and contribute to national scholarship on health and healthcare.
The Program Associate will play an integral role in the work of HEAL, directly supporting core activities in a variety of capacities. The position will also provide administrative support to the faculty and project staff associated with HEAL. The Program Associate will work as part of a very busy, dynamic group, and you must be skilled at multi-tasking and innovative in problem solving. Responsibilities will include:
Job Responsibilities:
      • Scheduling and Coordinating: organizing meetings involving multiple parties both internal and external to the organization, and all travel arrangements. Coordinating meeting preparation and other related activities.

      • Communication: preparing HEAL's publicity and communication material, including website content and other public-facing documents, as well as targeted communication such as presentation slides. Managing social media accounts. Contributing to writing fact sheets, newsletters and reports.

      • Monitoring and tracking: help manage tracking systems. Liaise with HEAL team to make sure they have adequate resources to meet deliverables an assist them where necessary.

      • Submitting and tracking applications to the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

      • Supporting the team in proposal development.

      • Preparing, processing, and tracking the purchasing of supplies, reimbursements, expense reports, and invoice payments.

      • Communicating with internal and external customers in a professional manner, and establishing cooperative and positive working relationships with colleagues, faculty, staff and other individuals in the course of business.

    • Participate in special projects and duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associates' Degree is required. Minimum of 1 Year of related experience in an office setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective Oral, written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer Skills -Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point and Access. Ability to develop basic formulae for spreadsheets; set up routine computer procedures; Ability to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software. Ability to proofread documents and write clear, concise 1st draft. Ability to type at a speed of at least 45 net words per minutes.Knowledge of standard office practices. Ability to multi-task while paying attention to details. Ability to use standard office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line telephones, fax machines.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Associates degree and one year of relevant experience.
2. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications.
3. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, and must be able to work and communicate effectively with both internal and external parties.
5. Capacity to work within a team environment as well as independently.
6. Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
7. Proficiency with new technologies.
8. Professionalism and adherence to confidentiality at all times.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $39,601.11 - $49,140.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
