About us
Noah’s House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to provide opportunity for growth and fulfillment to people with Intellectual Disabilities by providing a loving, nurturing, and affordable home, and community.
We believe that adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities are like everyone else – they want to live independently and make as many of their own choices as possible. They want the chance to live productive lives. Our residents are mostly able to do for themselves but need a little coaching and guidance throughout the day and that’s we provide for them.
Our 50 room facility provides:
- Single occupancy rooms
- 3 meals/day prepared in a commercial kitchen
- job placement, coaching, and transportation services
- medical coordination assistance and transportation
- programming such as life-skills and social recreation opportunities
We provide all these services for only $1485/month. Noah’s House does not accept government funding. We are funded primarily through resident fees and the generosity of caring people.
Noah’s House Program Assistants provide direct care support to 50 residents through coaching and guidance in activities of daily living, personal health and hygiene, budgeting, leisure skill development, and coping skills.
