Description/Job Summary
Lindahl Reed is hiring a Program Analyst to support the Department of Energy’s (DOE) office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). This position will specifically support the Vehicle Technologies Office’s (VTO) Technology Integration Program.
VTO's Technology Integration Program supports a broad technology portfolio that includes alternative fuels, energy efficient mobility systems and technologies, and other efficient advanced technologies that can reduce transportation energy costs for businesses and consumers. The program provides objective, unbiased data and real-world lessons learned to inform future research needs and support local decision making. It also includes projects to disseminate data, information, and insight, as well as online tools and technology assistance to cities and regions working to implement alternative fuels and energy efficient mobility technologies and systems.
The successful candidate for this position will provide high quality customer service focused work. They will be attentive to client needs and proactive in anticipating needs and identifying and filling gaps in support. They should be able to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and be able to respond quickly to short turnaround requests.
Position Responsibilities
  • Participating and providing notetaking and detailed minutes for various stakeholder meetings.
  • Developing and writing success stories on program and partner technical achievements.
  • Reviewing reports on DOE funded projects and coalition activities to identify success stories, lessons learned, and best practices.
  • Creating and updating engaging presentations on program technical matters
  • Assisting the program to engage stakeholders efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in relevant area
  • Strong self-starter with good team support skills
  • Strong organizational skills and very detail-oriented
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate programmatic information to various stakeholders.
  • Experience developing lessons learned documents and/or success stories.
  • Ability to complete tasks independently, but also in a collaborative team.
  • Experience and comfort in preparing and giving presentations.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
