Salary *** has a project where the plant's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) needs to be updated. The project will include reviewing current SOPs, watching the current processes on the production floors, communicating with *** personnel to clarify the steps, potential hazards, required PPE for the task, and ultimately, updating the SOP to ensure it accurately lays out the current processes.
Requirements:
0-2 years of experience. This role would work for someone seeking PT hours during the summer, a recent HS grad, teacher, etc.
Education: HSD/GED
Software Skills: MS Word - beginner to intermediate. Should be comfortable with functions such as inserting images into the file, updating the header and footer, updating SOPs, bullets, etc.
Other skills: Must be able to communicate clearly, detailed-oriented, and flexible.
Schedule:
Flexible during day shift. Project is estimating 240 hrs to compete the assignment. Contractor could work a few hours per day/week or 40 hours.
Additional notes:
Person will be working in a Paint Manufacturing Plant working mostly in office environment but will need to observe processes and talk with operators on the production floor in order to develop standard procedures. PPE required while out in production . Non Temperature controlled. NOT a Temp to Hire.
