Professional Services Operational Manager
For more than 30 years, ECI Software Solutions has been providing industry-specific, cloud-based business management software and services to small and medium-sized businesses; focusing on manufacturing, wholesale/retail distribution, building and construction, and field service. ECI is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, high-energy, hands-on professional to join our Professional Services Operations Team to drive and enable the overall success and effectiveness of the Professional Services function within ECI, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully, operations run smoothly, and clients are satisfied with the services. This Professional Services Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of various projects and maintaining operational excellence within the Professional Services domain, while also taking on a diverse set of tasks related to analysis, reporting, and documentation. Despite the diverse nature of the role, it's notable that there are no direct reports involved.
Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects within Global Professional Services.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve Professional Services goals and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration to achieve common objectives.
  • Data Accuracy and Integrity:
  • Establish and maintain processes for data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Business Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business needs.
  • Documentation Creation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Global Professional Services.
  • Ensure documentation complies with Global Professional Services standards and governance.
  • Certinia Report Writing:
  • Utilize Certinia reporting tools to generate reports.
  • Design and create reports based on specific requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of Certinia reports.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline is often required.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Data Validation/Business Analysis/Reporting Expertise: Strong business analysis skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes. Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements. Proficiency in data validation techniques and experience ensuring data accuracy. Hands-on experience with reporting tools, with a focus on Certinia report writing.
  • Documentation Proficiency: Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation. Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients. Strong operational management, project management and communication/presentation skills required. Strong teamwork and leadership skills to lead collaboration across functions throughout the organization.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to address issues promptly and effectively.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow to meet deadlines. Ability to adapt to change and proactively take charge of tasks and priorities is required.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
