The Professional Land Surveyor reports directly to the Vice President and may assist other positions as needed. The purpose of this position is to provide active leadership, strategies, and direction in the Utilities and Renewables Market Segments. The candidate should possess the skills, experience, and knowledge to execute the following tasks in an accurate, efficient, and ethical manner.
1. Strategy & Business Development:
· Improve or redevelop existing business plans to promote LWS expansion throughout the Utilities and Renewables market sectors nationwide.
· Develop strong communication lines with existing clients and outside project team members.
· Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
· Participate in proposal development and client consultations
· Conduct project debriefings with internal and external project teams.
· Support LWS Business Development efforts as needed. Including delivering client presentations, providing operational support in client meetings, and attending trade shows, conferences, and other social events.
2. Leadership & Management:
· Assist Operation Managers with assigning general and project specific duties and responsibilities to staff.
· Promote teamwork, internal communication, and a positive work atmosphere
· Monitor and assess staff work performances and productivity
· Monitor contracts, project schedules, deliverables, and profitability
· Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship for all employees.
· Lead by example by displaying a consistent work ethic, an emphasis on quality, and a commitment to integrity.
· PLS licensure in Maryland is required.
3. Corporate Support:
· Utilize, support, and improve LWS standards, procedures, and processes.
· Expedite invoicing and collection of accounts receivables
· Communicate regional personnel utilization to all regions for potential work sharing
· Provide quarterly revenue projections and reporting
· Conduct proper interview and vetting processes when acquiring new team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
