CBC Coating Inc. is located in Appleton, Wisconsin and is a company dedicated to delivering quality, innovative specialty coated products in the paper industry. Our capabilities include the development of custom, water-based coating formulations, along with the application of coatings to just about any substrate that is on a roll.
The company was originally founded in 1978 as a subsidiary of Riverside Paper Corporation and is named after Charles B. (C.B.) Clark, son of one of the founders of Kimberly-Clark. Today, CBC Coating is a third generation, family-owned company.
What you will do as a Production Associate
We currently are seeking full time direct hire production associates to participate in all functions associated within the operations of our coating and converting process. We have several entry level positions available, offering the opportunity to familiarize yourself with various machines within our facility. In-house training is available with previous experience helpful but not required. CBC Coating is a unionized organization that is currently working Monday through Thursday alternating 12 hour shifts 4 days per week. It is a possibility that we will transition to a primarily 5 day per week rotating three shift operation -3,2,1 in the future.
What we are looking for from you
· To be successful, you will have pride in your work, be on time, work safely, and work effectively with others.
· Previous manufacturing experience is required.
· Experience within the paper, coating, and converting industry a plus, but not required.
· Willingness and flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, rotating 8 hours shifts, and occasional weekends, as needed.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· High School diploma or equivalent is required as well as ability to pass a drug screening.
