Production Worker

Location: Stockton, CA
Position: Production Worker
Shift: 1st- 5:00 am -3:30 pm Monday-Thursday *overtime and Saturdays may be required.
Wage: $19.25 hr.

While reporting to the Production Supervisor as a Production Worker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee.
What you'll be doing:

• General labor and catch product on slitters, slotters & assemblers proficiently to sustain machines running.
• Breaking strips from die cut sheets and stacking strips on carts the same way. Hand assembly and speed will depend on number of strips and specs.
• Stacking product on pallets when coming out of the slitters/slotters to meet machine speed.
• Work in the fulfillment department to meet process flow.
• Glue boxes, insert partitions, pack glass and stack cases.
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervision and other miscellaneous assignments.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• Able to read a tape measure and how to use basic tools such as ratchets, impact drills, wrenches, etc.
• Possess analytical skills and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• Have experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, lift and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and maneuver large items up to 50 pounds safely.
