Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Associate to join our team. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for providing support to the entire Operations team by filling any production gaps and quality feedback in the form of recommendations to Operations Leaders. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and be able to operate a forklift.
Responsibilities
- Cross train across all operations departments; performs core functions within the department to balance workflow throughout the day
- Maintain high level of knowledge of department processes/procedures; reads reports to identify risk to SLA, works with team leadership to resolve, recommends and writes new work instructions and process flows
- Ability to step into any department associate/specialist position with high level of competency and quality; an employee leads from the front, setting the pace and performing area tasks, and positively motivates the team to consistent and high performance
- Provide quality feedback recommendations to Operations Leaders; identifies constraints and opportunities to reduce costs and/or gain efficiency
- Manages relationship with outside delivery services to ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods
- Provides coaching and assistance on work techniques, best practices, and subject-matter expertise to co-workers
- Paints Gear and Maintains Paint Booth Standards; set up High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) paint system for color of equipment to be painted, performs quality checks on finished goods, and cleans and calibrates HVLP system
- Hazardous/Universal Waste compliance and storage; knowledge of regulations, proper disposal, and documentation of contents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
- Functional use of MS Office products and knowledge of acumen with IOS/Android Apps sufficient to submit time and report expenses
- Promotes a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing technology/software
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Ability to push/pull a cart on casters loaded with heavy equipment
- Ability to independently move equipment (load/unload product) up to 45 pounds throughout the work shift
