The Production Technician II – Cleanroom works with the Production Supervisor to efficiently progress and track work orders from the Production Floor to and through the Cleanroom. The Production Technician II is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Cleanroom’s controlled environment, and all processes carried out within.

Efficiently and consistently producing quality products by understanding and meeting timelines for set shipping schedules, and preparing consignments for shipment, are key to this role. Reporting to the Site Manager and working with them, to efficiently meet and maintain strict production schedules, the Production Technician II - Cleanroom understands the importance of an audit-ready warehouse and production facility.

Duties and Responsibilities - Essential Job Functions

• Follow all applicable standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions and policies.

• Perform work on work orders and as requested to meet production and shipping priorities and schedules.

• Ensure all WO data is included in GSS and on WO for timely WO closing, including the appropriate issue of material.

• Ensure that line clearances, scrap records and other documents are completed and maintained correctly.

• Ensure completeness for sterilization shipments.

• Perform the training and development of new personnel in the group as requested and required, utilizing SOPs, manufacturing and work instructions.

• Responsible for coaching and working with Production Technicians and Warehouse Staff to ensure products being moved into the Cleanroom area and removed from the Cleanroom space are staged and handled correctly.

• Address and where necessary, log machine issues that may occur during shift. Work with technicians to maintain updates on machine performance, complete machine maintenance and cleaning and log as required.

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and preventative maintenance with other staff to maintain the facility.

• Communicate processing anomalies to Quality, and/or Management.

• Adhere to following the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

• Show ownership to maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications - Minimal Qualifications:

• Ability to work with others, efficiently ensuring production is completed on time.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• General understanding of processing, packaging and labeling requirements for most part numbers processed through the Dallas facility, with a detailed understanding in one or more areas of production.

• Informed understanding of SOPs that relate to Cleanroom Activities, Maintenance and Gowning

• Informed understanding of SOPs that impact general employee and quality activities.

• Informed understanding of GSS systems with regard to logging into shifts and workorders, creating and reviewing work orders, reading and understanding the shipping dashboard, and issuing materials

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual, Spanish and English

• High school education or more in trade, business or a related field

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Basic math skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.74 - $26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
