This is a full-time, benefits eligible position; Monday-Friday, 1:00pm - 9:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to appropriately utilize scale
- Provide power to scale
- Calibrate scale using proper weights and techniques
- “Tare” scale to ensure accurate measurements
- Ability to stack boxes in orderly fashion for palletizing
- Read & Understand Product Codes and Lot Numbers
- Find proper screens for Swecos & Comils
- Operate all equipment belts, Swecos, Comils & Metal Detectors
- Perform CCP check, per SOP
- Document, and remedy, non-compliance issues on paperwork
- Correctly and Accurately perform quality checks to ensure product matches sight standard
- Maintain food safety culture in regards to food defense, quality and cGMPs for production and warehousing of products
- Trained and Certified in Stand-up Forklift Operation
- Other duties as assigned
- Understand and Master all Sanitization processes
- Clean, Break Down & Reassemble equipment
- Consistently follow all Sanitization processes to ensure food safety
- Understand and Consistently practice food safety, sanitization and work safety policies & procedures
- Maintain GMP “general housekeeping” practices to ensure a workspace that is clean and safe
- High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent knowledge
- 0 -2 years of relevant manufacturing/production work experience
- Experience in a food environment, a plus
- Ability to receive forklift certification
- QualiTech will provide necessary training
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to accurately add, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute units of time and weight measurement and volume.
- Must be able to read and interpret basic written instructions and perform tasks and projects derived from written instructions.
- Understand, read, speak and write in English.
