Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision in manufacturing? We're seeking a skilled Production Technician to be an integral part of our AGM production team. As a Production Technician, you'll utilize your expertise in interpreting prints, operating machinery, and collaborating with our Production Management Team to ensure timely job completion.
Essential Functions
- Master the set-up and operation of various production equipment, including presses, part marking equipment, and laser printing machines across AGM's multiple production areas.
- Collaborate closely with the Production Management Team to ensure all applicable production equipment is set up to meet job deadlines.
- Promptly address any equipment and safety concerns.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and adherence to safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- At times, this position requires the use of a respirator. The operator must have the ability to use a respirator, and must complete AGM's respirator training program.
- Contribute to the production of pressed desiccants, blending, and granulation of desiccant powder.
- Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures for all products and equipment.
- Complete paperwork accurately and ensure all work areas are organized.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required; mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience are preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Understanding Instructions: Ability to read, interpret prints, and follow safety procedures whether they are in verbal, written or diagram (visual) form.
- Adaptability: Have flexibility and ability to work a varied schedule and have the adaptability to switch between tasks.
- Physical Requirements: Have the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment: Ability to work in an environment with a noise level that is moderate to loud.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with 30 minutes for lunch daily, and two, 10-minute breaks.
40 hours per week excluding breaks and any applicable overtime.
