Production Technician 2:00Pm To 10:30Pm

Position Summary

This position is responsible for machine operation, machine performance and inspection of parts while working in a team environment and meeting production needs.

Primary Functions

• Follow verbal and written instructions from Supervisor, and conduct oneself according to Internal policies, procedures, and standards of behavior.
• Operate machines/equipment as needed in order to meet production demands
• Machines include but not limited to:
• CNC EDM/Laser
• Laser Welding
• Airflow
• Inspection equipment
• Cleaning equipment
• Maintain good attitude and willingness to learn
• Submits request to supervisor for purchased items

Additional Duties

• Performs additional duties from time to time as requested by the supervisor.
• Assists teammates as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Basic troubleshooting ability
• Read, understand and follow work instructions

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Mechanical ability required
• Basic understanding of GD&T and applications
• Understands quality system and requirements as related to position
• Ability to use hand measurement tools (micrometer, caliper, etc.)
• Practices proper safety guidelines and wears appropriate Personal Protection Equipment when required.
• Ability to sit or stand at computer terminal or at a machine for long periods of time
• Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
• An essential function for this position, based on business necessity, is that the employee must be physically in attendance at his/her workstation at the designated company office location during the normal business hours designated for the position.
• Other assignments as given from time to time by supervisor and management.

Working Conditions

This position is inside working approximately 75% of the time in a-climate controlled environment.
