About Rantizo:
Rantizo is an ag-tech company in Iowa City, Iowa, made up of tech nerds and farm kids. We're also the leading operator network for spray drone services. Rantizo operators fly and apply nationwide, using spray drones to provide timely, local, and precision application services for crops ranging from Arkansas rice to Iowa corn to Oregon hops and Idaho potatoes, enabling ag retailers to expand their services to growers.
Rantizo connects demand and supply for agriculture spray drone services with a turnkey service platform. We sell drones, support, software, insurance and training, and our service platform connects demand for acres to be sprayed to local operators who are qualified, licensed and insured.
Our vision is to build a service network that puts autonomy to work in ag, starting with spray drone services. This matters because delivering crop protection and nutrition is hard, increasing in complexity and cost, and vital to producing food. We want to make precision ag services accessible and cost-effective for more farmers, to reach more acres, and more sustainability.
Job overview:
We are looking for a Customer Success Specialist that will deliver exceptional service, trouble shooting, and support to ag retailers, cooperative organizations, and crop protection specialists.

The candidate needs to be a reliable self-starter. This position is located in Iowa City, Iowa. Peak support hours are April 1 to Sept 5, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Rotating weekdays, rotating weekends and holidays require availability 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the success of current Rantizo customers.
  • Assist Rantizo operators to quickly get up to speed in mastering aerial application by drone, answering omni-channel support communications.
  • Assist as needed in training delivery of operators. (Some travel required).
  • Assess crashed or malfunctioning drones for repair/maintenance.
  • Follow manufacturer/insurance guidelines for warranty and repair documentation.
  • Timely/quality repair of drones and equipment completed within Service Level Agreement standards.
  • Develop trusted relationships with Rantizo customers.
  • Answer support calls, email, chats, texts, and portal submissions. Triaging customer issues with drone application including - technical issues (both hardware and software), workflows, and processes, etc.
  • Documenting the service cycle of each incoming communication.
  • Create estimates, process invoicing, and collect payment for product and service.
  • Liaise with insurance and Drone manufacturers for warranty and or insurance claims.
  • Proactively reach out to customer base for follow up and feedback.

Qualifications:
  • Motivated and disciplined to be self-starter, and time management.
  • Agriculture background, preferred.
  • Drone technology experience, preferred.
  • Proven manual repair skills 1-year drone preferred (car, tractor, drone, appliances, computer, etc. substitution).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Service ticketing experience.
  • Documentation experience.
  • Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders (written and verbal).
  • 2+ years in customer-facing support position.
  • Experience in an agriculture-related field including agronomy, Weed Science, Agricultural Systems Technology, Biology, Ag Business, preferred.

Required:
  • Qualify for the 107 UAS license before/after employment including medical card requirements.
  • Ability to conduct 1:1 or small group training.
  • Some travel, seated in Iowa City, IA.
  • Timely repair/maintenance work resolution.
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional follow up skills.
  • Experience in customer-facing support and troubleshooting.
