Production Support - Entry Level Manufacturing

• Assists Production with various tasks both pre and post-production.
• 1st shift position 6am-2:30pm Monday - Friday.
• This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door in a manufacturing position.

General Tasks:

• Reads work orders to determine requirements.
• Stages work area and prepares boxes.
• Perform various tasks post-production to complete process for shipping, i.e., dedusting of material, specialty bagging or boxing of material or any other additional task needed to complete an order.
• Safely operate a forklift and move material around the plant without damaging material or containers.
• Assist shift workers on the floor when able.

Knowledge Requirements

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control, machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance and learn the company's Safety Policies and Procedures manual.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to read and/or verbally understand and follow directions, read and write in English, safely operate a forklift and other job-related equipment/machinery and work independently or with a team with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity strength to grab, manipulate or assemble objects.
• Strength to lift, push, or pull up to 55lbs.
• Use of abdominal and lower back muscles continuously over time without fatigue.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
