Configuration Management Engineer

Responsible for the delivery and support of Configuration Management within the Systems Integration team across Capital Markets and Wealth Management. This position provides in depth knowledge through exceptional technical and practical understanding to influence and shape the delivery of servers including managing the asset from cradle to grave in a fast pace, dynamic and global environment. The individual in this role will leverage expert knowledge of automation and technical infrastructure solutions to our strategic partner to the targeted business areas as well as a global technology partner with both global and regional Infrastructure teams. The role will work within infrastructure teams, business partners and application development teams. The individual in this role will also serve as an infrastructure expert with specific and practical knowledge of engineering/automation/development and reporting of global, cross platform solutions.

Accountable for Configuration Management services with major focuses on: 

Integrating and improving bank wide service solutions for business partners

Innovation and design of technologies that provides state of the art services

Relationship management with global business and technology partners

Direct contributor of global teams 

Automation, tune and improve existing process/policies around server management

Provisioning of effective solutions and system practices across entire server estate (UNIX*,Linux, Windows, EMC, Netapp, Solaris, ESX)

Work with Software Development teams to improve the readiness for Operational Deployment

Develop identification and remediation solutions around internal compliance settings and requirements

Integration with system and service management tools         

The position oversees the following technologies UNIX*, Linux, Windows, EMC, Netapp, Solaris, ESX system integration and reporting.

Configuration Management

System reporting and metric analysis

Business service management and visualization

Creating of a holistic view into the server estate for lifecycle and Configuration Management
