We have an amazing opportunity at the Waseca site. This role is Full-time Exempt On- Site position. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead team members to accomplish the plant's process improvement opportunities. Manage production staff to attain production and quality goals. Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Manage several functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve our results.
You Will
- Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
- Provide employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.
- Help manage sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food safe environment.
- Coach and enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.
- Evaluate subordinate performance, communicate with employees, and provide information for work performance improvement.
- Help support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, confined space entry.
- Lead on productivity teams that contribute to cost savings objectives.
- Promote and improve Team Culture.
- Help time keep.
- Manage Adherence, Attainment, and Productivity to deliver targets.
You Have
- Two + Years college degree in business administration, Supply Chain. Other degrees will be considered.
- Two years+ management experience.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss
- Previous experience in a food-processing or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work a 6:30PM to 3:30 AM Schedule 5 days out of the week.
- Flexibility to work one day weekend during fresh pack season.
