Responsibilities:

• Focus on the safety and productivity of your team and the quality of the products manufactured.
• Create an environment where your team can learn and thrive and ultimately come together and consistently work well as a unit.
• Enforcing safety policies and giving safety presentations
• Coach and perform quality product and process audits
• Observe and analyze trends and/or tendencies in your metrics in order to optimize your teams productivity and performance
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles
• Identify and eliminate process abnormalities
• Perform annual team member evaluations

Skills:

• Being able to speak and read Karen is not required but a plus
• Bachelor degree from four-year College or university preferred, but not required. Relatable proven work experience acceptable.

Qualifications:

• Able to speak and read Spanish
• One to two years related Production Supervisor experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Able to stand on your feet for 8?10 hours
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks using arms and hands).
• Able to work in a loud and fast paced environment, make good judgements, and provide assistance when necessary.
• Able to communicate with co-workers and understand written instructions.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Able to read and understand the U.S. measurement system to 1/32 of an inch
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
