Position Summary
The purpose of the Tucson Production Supervisor is to create value for Parker's customer and the department employees by providing formal leadership/direction, technical oversight, and serve as an HPT coach for your respective department. This position is responsible for any necessary functions within the department driving KPI including safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Responsibilities:
- Drives safety culture, leads with safety, high level of participation in identifying safety opportunities and setting expectation for others. Collaborates with others and supports in timely closure of safety concerns.
- Provides oversight on quality of products and coordinates and collaborates with all stakeholder's corrective actions. (CARs, NCMR, CAR & XCAR mgmt.)
- Provides hands-on technical support, performance feedback and coaching discussions, and work direction for Team Members.
- Provides direction in work assignments to reach established output levels to meet daily and monthly goals. (Scheduling assistance). Works with scheduling to create/improve schedule to balance customer needs with efficiency in set-up.
- Ensures all data collection and reporting activities are accomplished as required whether personally owned or owned by a lead. Creates actions and assists in execution of actions from data collection, and DBTH performance.
- Responsible for owning the TIB (OR) supporting production lead on TIB.
- Ensures that the Layered Audits are completed and that the appropriate stakeholder(s) are engaged in the process. Suggest areas where we can improve or create auditing to prevent production issues.
- Attend HPT meetings (rotating schedule with plant manager: divide HPT and rotate for feedback and coaching to the teams).
- Ensures training/development meets business requirements.
- Manages employee time off requests and timecard approvals.
- Conduct daily standup meetings and other meetings as needed. Responsible for procuring items for department as needed (tooling, fixtures, etc) excludes raw material.
- Maintain and continuously improve 6S scores in your production area. Advocate for 6S can coach associates and help identify additional 6S opportunities in the area.
- Aid or lead projects such as Cost Reduction, Kaizen events, Lean Transformation for your production area.
- Support HR/Payroll with timecards, performance reviews, and conducts 1:1 with associates for their development plans.
- This position is supported by plant manager and expected to escalate when support is needed to accomplish the goals set for the department(s).

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through at least three years of direct work experience in a leadership position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to provide technical supervision within a high-performance team culture.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts & processes.
- Working knowledge of the Parker quality system and tools.
- Ability to conduct On-Job-Training.
- General PC skills required (collecting and sharing data, ability to use Microsoft Office).
- Advanced technical skills based on primary function assignment.
- Basic organizational skills.
- Ability to practice active listening and effective conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.
