This is an excellent position for someone interested in entering the industry and building a lasting career.

You will be trained in our Digital and Large Format products to print, produce and finish products for our clients. We do everything from business cards and postcards to booklets, poster and wall/window graphics.

Responsibilities

Review job specification and ensure that client files are accurate to produce job

Format and correct print jobs and layouts to ensure quality before productionUnderstand, set up, operate, and troubleshoot issues on the printing and bindery equipment used in the center Print, mount and cut large format materialsCombining printed sheets into finished productsPerform cutting, folding, book binding operations, laminating, and shrink wrap operationsPrepare deliveries, mailings and fulfillment ordersChecks orders for accuracy, quality and completeness before packaging for delivery to clientsUnderstand all product offeringsCommunicate supplies needed and notifies Production Manager of equipment requiring servicingOperate equipment safely and in accordance with equipment instructionsCleans and organizes work areas throughout the dayAssists other team members/complete special jobs as required

Production Specialist Qualifications

Ability to organize several activities and tasks concurrently.

Graphic design skills are a plus but not necessary

Customer service oriented

Attention to detail

Accuracy, patience, neatness

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Able to manage tasks with minimal supervision

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experienced using and comfortable with computers and computer software

Able to accurately discern colors

Graphic design skills are a plus but not necessary

Mechanical and technology aptitude preferred

Willing and able to learn new skills and technologies

High School Diploma or GED Required

1-3 Years of work experience

Experience working with large format and/or digital printing a plus but we are willing to train the right person
