Production Scheduler

POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for creating and driving the scheduling of all jobs in the factory, including the prototype cell, including up to the minute changes related to materials, capacity, and other disruptions.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and maintain factory work schedules for all production lines, and the prototype work area.
• Daily maintenance of the factory production schedule within the ERP to ensure order delivery dates, balanced production capacity, and includes job start/end dates, resources required, and line assignments.
• Maintain daily awareness and take action on changes to job status related to issues around materials, capacity constraints or other disruptions.
• Process all required paperwork and shop folders needed for jobs scheduled to run in the factory with a focus on making sure that production lines have what they need, before they need it.
• Process requests to the warehouse for additional raw material as required.
• Be a liaison between Sales and Production to ensure correct and timely exchanges of job order information as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Any other activities and duties as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in scheduling
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Project as well as an ERP (JobBoss/SyteLine is a plus)
• Ability to function independently as well as collaborate with various teams in a fast-moving environment
• Must be detail-oriented; accuracy is critical
• Ability to work on site in Haysville, KS
• High School Diploma

PREFERRED SKILL SETS:

• Experience with SQL
• Ability to read blue prints
