Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc. is an established nation-wide manufacturer seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team at our Council Bluffs, IA location. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for startup, shutdown, and tooling changes on extrusion lines to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in maintaining our high production standards.

- Examines extruder line for proper functioning
- Removes and installs dies, screws and sizing rings using hand tools.
- Add resins into the extruder as needed
- Feed dry, unfinished product into extruder
- Observe thermostate heat control unit and notifies maintenance of deviations from prescribed termperature
- Perform line startup, shutdown and tooling changes
- Determine if products are completed to specifications
- Work to resolve product defects
- Assist Utility Members in the assembly, packaging, and labeling of finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Must be able to work ANY8-hour shift.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to push/pull objects across work area
- Must have knowledge and ability to read and operate measuring instruments, fixed gauges, and small hand tools
- High degree of individual initiative and good judgmental abilities
- Ability to maintain production and process records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but not required
