Production Operator - Hourly (2nd or 3rd Shift)
Location: San Bernardino, CA
Compensation: Starting wage based on experience, ranging from $19.25 to $21.25 per hour, with an additional $1.25/hour for afternoon and midnight shift differentials.
Environment: Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
- Operate, troubleshoot, and make adjustments to production machinery.
- Load cardboard boxes into production equipment.
- Transport palletized materials using a forklift.
- Perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures and wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
Additional Tasks:
- Operate Cast or Paint Machine.
- Replace machine tooling, cylinders, and actuators as needed.
- Ensure the maintenance of paint drum reservoirs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Preferred prior experience in a related production line role.
- Preferred experience operating a forklift.
- Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are a plus.
- Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and work both independently and within a team.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness and ability to climb ladders, work at heights, endure varying weather conditions and extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs.
