Position Summary: The Production Operator will perform a wide variety of tasks related to electronics assembly. This may include winding of transformers, hand assembly of transformers, soldering, dip soldering and wire crimping. Additional assembly of complete units including electronic testing may be performed. May operate small equipment and hand tools. Requires hand dexterity, eye coordination, ability to read and interpret drawings, prints and bill of materials.
Responsibilities:
· Hand Soldering
· Dip soldering
· Operate small machinery
· Utilize hand tools
· Transformer winding
· Hand transformer assembly
· Wire crimping and assembly
· Building of finished units
· Electronic testing
· Inventory counting
· Accurate and precise measuring
· Inspection of parts and work in process using various measuring devices and techniques
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Manufacturing in electronics assembly is preferred.
Knowledge of: Basic hand and eye coordination.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Manufacturing experience preferred.
2. Attention to detail.
