Position Summary
This position is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling production to ensure that the products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to established safety and environmental standards.
Primary Functions
- Plan, implement and control the productions schedule, making adjustments as needed.
- Determine the human, material and support equipment resource requirements to meet production targets.
- Establish and implement standard operating procedures for the production operations, ensuring adherence to standard procedures.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to required environmental, health and safety procedures.
- Implement, enforce and monitor quality control standards of products. Track and analyze quality programs to detect, correct problems so as to meet quality objectives.
- Establish and deploy processes to determine and implement improvements to the production process.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Monitor and review the performance of direct reports and organize necessary interventions for improvement.
- Set and manage production budgets. Implement appropriate cost control programs to realize budget and cost objectives.
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including planning, logistics, quality, process engineering, product engineering, procurement, sales and upper management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, engineering or industrial technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in production and manufacturing environment. Credit may be given for relevant work experience.

- Travel may be required on occasion but not generally expected.
- An essential requirement for this position, based on business necessity, is that the employee must be physically in attendance at his/her workstation at the designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position. There may be occasion when additional time, beyond normal working hours, be spent within the facility to assure duties and responsibilities are fulfilled.
Working Conditions
Temperature: This position is an inside position working 50% of the time in a climate-controlled environment and 50% of the time within the production facility.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
