FCS is actively searching for a Production Manager for their top client in the Greater Saratoga Springs, UT area. Production Managerwill directly supervise a team of 100+/- employees, directing and overseeing Production Supervisors and Production personnel, responsible for directing the daily execution and setting of long-term strategies for consistently meeting the production plant goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production Manager will oversee the manufacturing process and develop a production schedule to meet seasonal deadlines and lead times.
- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime, plan, monitor, and communicate daily/monthly/annual production goals.
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
- Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel, monitor production KPIs and proactively manage change throughout the process.
- Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
- Provide training, motivation, support and guidance to all employees, as well as review worker performances.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years' experience in industrial manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3+ years in a Management and/or Supervisory role.
- Prior experience managing, mentoring, and overseeing production teams of 100+/- employees.
- Ability to gather, analyze and communicate production data metrics to the leadership team.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles / Six Sigma Methodology.
- Experience in fast paced work environment that includes logistics, budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, manufacturing and warehousing
