Job Description Summary: Responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of a Production Line, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely and within the specified timeframe.
Essential Functions - Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to ensure that daily production goals are met.
- Develop and implement efficient production processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all workers follow safe work practices and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage Production Line performance, including production output, quality control, and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Maintenance, Quality Control, and Supply Chain, to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Train and mentor production workers on best practices and new procedures.
- Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records of production output and efficiency.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate and work in other production areas as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a production supervisory role.
- Knowledge of quality control and safety regulations.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology is preferred.

Work Environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- 2nd shift schedule is 3pm to 11:30pm with moderate overtime as needed
