THIS IS A NIGHT POSITION, HOURS 2:00PM - 2:30AM
Job Responsibilities (inclusive, but not comprehensive list):

• Assigning and communicating tasks to Production Technicians through Tier process.
• Complete manufacturing documentation per approved procedures; includes reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy per established timelines.
• Operation of processing equipment according to established SOPs, MPRs, & SPRs in accordance with cGMPs. Related operations include but are not limited to solution preparation, cell culture, purification & formulation, and supporting activities.
• Qualified on-the-floor (OTF) trainer.
• Qualified in all processes within functional areas.
• In-direct supervision of Production Technicians.
• Provides input into annual performance evaluations of technicians as applicable.
• Proactively investigate and resolve problems.
• Engage in clear and concise communication to Process Lead(s) and Supervisor(s) to resolve advanced issues on the floor.
• Complete SOP revisions.
• Leading level zero problem solving.
• Own deviation management, as needed.
• Support process improvements and new equipment introductions, as needed.
• Lead inventory reconciliation process in respective functional area.
• Demonstrates proficient equipment/process knowledge to diagnose issues and participate in first-line trouble-shooting and root cause analysis.
• Suggest solutions to non-routine events OTF
• Lead indirect processing activities in support of MFG operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build confidence with team to effectually lead day-to-day floor operations.
• Maintain AstraZeneca's values and behaviors.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• 5 years background in manufacturing, preferable in Pharmaceutical industry

Desirable:

• Work independently or in collaboration with others on assigned tasks
• Effectually communicate, train and mentor others, and steer a team on day-to-day task completion
• Follow cGMP standards
• Computer skills
• Heed instruction and directions
• Perform job responsibilities with minimal oversight and direction
• Substantial prior experience with aseptic/cGMP standards
• Prior experience in Bioprocessing work environment/systems/equipment operation
• BS/BA degree preferred
• Degree in STEM field
