Shift: 2nd, Sunday through Monday availability, 5:00pm - 5:00am
Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Floater safely and efficiently operates production equipment, including but not limited to, depalletizers, fillers, packers, palletizers, forklifts, sanitation, and recycling equipment. This position will also perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Person and Management.
JOB SUMMARY
• Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the machine operator safely and efficiently operates production equipment, including but not limited to, depalletizers, fillers, packers, palletizers, forklifts, sanitation and recycling equipment. This position will also perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Person and Management.
JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual)
• Safely and efficiently operate all production equipment.
• Maintain safety and quality standards for all processes and functions within assigned duties.
• Accurately complete all required documentation on a timely basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor requires on equipment as needed.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures on equipment and work areas.
• Comply with all safety, GMP, sanitation & food safety regulations.
• Lift up to 40 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally, and up to 75 lbs. infrequently.
• Frequently climb stairs, reach above shoulders, bend and twist at waist and neck.
• Stand/walk or sit for extended periods of time.
• Report to work on time and work overtime as needed.
• Perform light maintenance duties on machines.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Requires basic mathematical and writing skills.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Requires the ability to operate all production equipment, including forklifts, sanitation and other cleaning equipment.
• Requires the ability to work well with others in a team setting.
• Requires the ability to complete a Forklift Operations Training course and to successfully pass the test to obtain a Forklift Operator's License.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.
