Description:
East Coast Metrology is looking for engineers who have either recently graduated or are soon to graduate to inspect, evaluate, and reverse engineer products for various industries, such as nuclear, medical, aerospace, and automotive. ECM makes use of the most recent technology, including Laser Trackers and Portable CMM Arms, and software to obtain, analyze, and report dimensional data.
Trainees will be provided with on the job instruction with our techniques, equipment, and software. As they progress, they will be assigned to individual projects, which are selected to match the engineer's interests and strengths. This job requires 30-70% travel, depending on our customer's demands.
A lot of our work is done in the eastern US, but our staff has been to North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
Desired Qualifications:
We are looking for people who have or are finishing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Excellent mechanical abilities and aptitude, as well as the capacity to communicate both in the engineering office and on the shop floor are necessary. Knowledge of BIM, AutoDesk Suite, Revit, Large Volume Scanners, 3D CAD, GD&T, MS Office, is beneficial. Please note that only US citizens are considered.
