**This role is at 1701 Northwind Hwy., Hobart, IN 46342 standard hours 7am - 3:30pm (OT/Weekends**  

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Production Coordinator is responsible for all activities related to coordination of production workflow, packaging and shipments for our clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure all Shipping requirements are met in accordance with Amsive shipping SOP.
  • Ensure all Environmental Health and Safety requirements are met regarding shipping and inventory storage.
  • Facilitate required standards for assigned customers as it pertains to quality at all production stages up to shipping.
  • Prepare, print, make available package markings corresponding to specific campaigns.
  • Maintain a clean organized work area to include documentation of all product, shipped and remainder of inventory.
  • Prepare sample kits, document contents of kits and communicate availability of documentation with appropriate individuals.
  • Operate forklift as needed to gather needed items for packaging and storage to include daily forklift inspections.
  • Perform equipment inspections of skid wrapper and strapper prior to use.
  • Maintain a professional and open line of communication with all team members from administrative to manufacturing personnel.
  • Work a consistent schedule and support the sales rep or project manager with needed information to ensure timely project completion.
  • Assist in special duties and projects as required by Management.
  • Data entry into customer specific portals within the required time frame.

  • Effective process management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to the Shipping Lead – Large Format.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. 
Body Positions: Frequently required to stand and walk with infrequent and limited time sitting.
Body Movements: The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands & fingers to handle or feel objects, bending, reaching with hands and arms, and crouching.
 
Body Senses: Must have command of the following senses: sight, hearing, speech and touch.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distant vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Must be able to distinguish minor color variations.
Strength: Occasionally must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will spend most of the time working in a production area that is relatively loud with limited time in a professional office environment.
