Production Control Lead

The Production Control Leadman will provide support for JDE ERP system in the area of Manufacturing ILink process. This role is required to work closely with the Engineering department and all areas of manufacturing to ensure all items are processed timely and set up properly in JDE for production ready. End to end troubleshooting as they arise. Provide expert level support to Engineering and assist Production Control with planning as needed. Attend Meetings as required. Lead the Dept. during the absence of the Production Control Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Process all ILink (JD Edward) messages for production ready daily. 
• Assign part numbers to Production planners and make sure they are Valid.
• Set up work order for internal, external make items, repairs and supply requisitions for outside purchasing.
• Plan's production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Provides support and information to customer service and manufacturing with data that helps them with customer needs by working closely with the Expeditor.
• Establish effective communication with various groups such as Engineering, sales and production departments especially through email.
• Updating inventory management system and Maintaining MRP messages.
• Working closely with Shipping department to make sure all invoices are properly set up.
• Working closely with accounting to finalize and close of all repairs work orders.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• Associate degree preferred or three plus years experiences in production planning and/or manufacturing. 
• Must have strong knowledge with hands-on experience of JD Edward or any ERP planning tool. 
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. 
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Need to be self-motivated and show initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Good analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities are required.
• Must be able to make decision in a timely manner.
