Summary
The Point/Middle Operator is responsible for packing finished product on skids, performing quality checks, banding, installing side boards, stretch wrapping, and moving finished product to assigned area for shipping.
Essential Functions
- Lifting 5 - 50 pounds repetitively.
- Standing demands of up to 9 hours per day.
- Ability to read tape measure, calipers.
- Bending at the waist.
- Forklift operations - training provided.
- Banding product on skids.
- Pneumatic gun operation (nail/stapple).
- Filling out required paperwork.
- Informing glue operator of product defects.
- Occasionally tying bales when baler is full.
- Wearing all proper PPE and following all safety regulations/procedures
- Other duties as assigned Ability to work overtime
Position Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
