Production Assistant Manager

As the Production Assistant Manager, you will assist in ensuring efficient production, associate safety, product quality, and adherence to established procedures. This is accomplished by effectively managing the day-to-day operation of the production team to meet goals of successful delivery of inventory to stores, maintaining safety, quality, accuracy, on-time delivery, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

An ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and ensure adherence to this through maintaining a culture of accountability that engages and motivates the team.

About you:

• Experienced and reliable in warehouse supervisory work.
• Great leadership skills, able to train, guide, and coach team members and monitor their productivity.
• Can juggle multiple priorities and manage workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
• Prioritize safety by ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and standards, overseeing the safe use and maintenance of equipment, and consulting with new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator, able to collaborate with management to draft and implement policies and procedures.
• Improvement-minded, establishing objectives, communicating them to team members, and discussing performance and recognition.
• Well-organized, capable of providing administrative support to the production manager, monitoring batch records, and procuring raw materials/equipment/labor.
• Balance manufacturing priorities to ensure a steady flow of products are infused and ready for packaging.
• Attentive to detail and able to verify if products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Problem solver, detecting efficiency issues and suggesting improvements.
• Able to operate equipment, work a station to produce product, and work with the team to produce SKUs for packaging.
• Have at least 2 years of leadership experience with 2 or more years of experience in a GMP production environment preferred.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
