Motion Ai, a division of Motion Industries, is a leading distributor of industrial automation products and services. We are seeking someone as an entry level Assembly Technician to assemble small to medium electrical/mechanical/pneumatic assemblies.
New, climate-controlled facility with exercise space, showers, lockers, and quiet rooms. Fun environment with frequent company sponsored lunches and events. Hours are 7:00AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Hours are 7:00AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Use of hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers) and small power tools (drills, power screwdrivers) to build assemblies.
- Must be able read and interpret blueprints and follow work instruction to complete assembly.
- Focus on safe working practices.
- Maintain a clean work area applying Lean 5S concepts.
- Engage in process improvements and enhancements.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs regularly, 50lbs sometimes and 70lbs with help occasionally.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Display a positive attitude
- Prefer prior assembly experience with electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to work independently and solve minor problems
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and workload
- Ability to work with Windows operating system
