Summary:
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approve specifications and quality standards
- Places parts in specified relationship to each other
- Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together
- Tends machines, such as automated machinery, to perform operations on assembly line
- Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to be familiar with all assembly
- Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy
- Routinely practice 6s (Safety, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Ensures that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials
- Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
- Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment
- Reports issues or problems with production (equipment defects) to immediate Supervisor
- Observe and removes fault product parts from assembly line
- Other duties as assigned.
- Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities. Attends required safety training and participates in safety exercises
- Develops and maintains a clean, safe working environment for self and co-workers
- Consistently maintains acceptable level of productivity
- Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel components or using controls on an assembly machine
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, 15 pounds, & 20 pounds
- Required to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Often performing repetitious motions
