Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Team Leader. Responsibilities of a Team Leader include decision-making, coaching, mentoring, developing the team’s skills and managing conflict, supply of resources required at the workstations.
Responsibilities:
- An effective Team Leader coaches’ member on achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results.
- The Team Leader is responsible for preventing conflict where possible and resolving it when it does arise.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in assembly. Handle necessary disciplinary action; Maintain job performance files for evaluating assembly employees; Monitor employee work levels and review work performance. Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
- Inspect, operate, or test subassemblies, components, or equipment for quality control, to verify function and conformance to customer specifications and to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Rework, repair or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Practices and obeys the environmental, health and safety rules of the company.
- Leading, supporting, and growing the assembly team.
- Support standardized work instruction for each assigned Assembly Production process.
- Responsible to ensure downtime, runtime, shift names and machine standstills are accounted and properly assigned.
- Meet/exceed all targets for Quality, Productivity, Uptime, On-Time Delivery and Cost.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Forklift certification is a plus
