Power Connector’s Production Assembler is critical in contributing to the fundamental changes that are transforming Power
Connector. This position is instrumental in enhancing and strengthening our manufacturing processes by executing on our
internal manufacturing and quality processes and procedures and contributing to continuous improvement and optimization
efforts. This position’s primary focus is to assist, contribute, and execute on the team’s strategic plans for manufacturing
stability and improvement.
Power Connector’s Production Assembler is a dynamic, adaptable, open-minded problem solver with manufacturing skills
suited for individual and team contribution. This position is an integral part in sustaining and improving our manufacturing for
expansion within our current industry and penetration into new industries. This position enjoys the inherent challenges of
executing on manufacturing systems and processes in a diverse, dynamic, and growing organization. This position has a
strong influence on the execution of the fundamental principles of deployed manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the assembly of raw materials
- Responsible for the breaking down of raw materials as needed for each product
- Responsible for the organization of necessary components to build product
- Responsible for assembly of product in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly shipment lists as directed by
supervisor.
- Capable of manipulating items with weights less than or equal to 30 pounds
- Perform general housekeeping in order to maintain an extremely clean and safe environment
- Responsible for the safe use of tools that are required during assembly
- Upholding quality standards while meeting production quotas
- Contributes to a safe, accident-free, working environment by abiding by all safety procedures and policies as defined
by the Company and OSHA regulations
Assembler Level I
- Proficient in the assembly of product in accordance with skills matrix (assembly of ~5-25% of all products).
- Proficient in training of the assembly of product in accordance with skills matrix (assembly of ~5-25% of all products)
Assembler Level II
- Proficient in the assembly of product in accordance with skills matrix (assembly of ~25-50% of all products)

Assembler Level III

Assembler Level IV

- Proficient in executing quality control inspection responsibilities:
o Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications
o Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such
as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
o Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing
procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required
o Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples,
finished goods, or stability samples
o Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities
inspected or graded
o Mark items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status
o Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make
recommendations on appropriateness of data for release
o Perform visual inspections of finished products
o Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems
o Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment
logbooks, or inventory forms
o Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications
o Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment
o Grade, classify, or sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- 1-10 years of previous manufacturing experience
Knowledge
- Proficient in using standard assembly tools, such as screwdrivers, drills, and levers
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, manuals, etc.
- Additional qualifications for Assembler Level V:
o Proficient in using inspection equipment, such as calipers and micrometers
o Proficient in MS Office
Skills
- Ability to work well independently and part of a team
- Ability to motivate team members in a creative and effective manner
- Ability to work effectively under stressful and dynamic environments
- Additional qualifications for Assembler Level V:
o Results-oriented with good analytical skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
